Viva in Neufahrn bei Freising

Yesterday during Corona times I thought that you could order from Viva again because the food there in the restaurant was always very good. But yesterday it was just a complete failure. We got nachos out of the bag and only got a little dip, the enchiladas were just limp and I wanted to add quakamole, which was simply forgotten and that was the second time. The burger was cold and the fries were just too salty. The salads were just full of vinegar so really everything was spit out without love! So it is really suitable for a cozy evening in the restaurant but it is better not to order because it is really not worth spending that much money on the food!

EC card payment is not possible during Corona times, no mask behind the counter, pre-ordered food ready to be picked up 20 minutes after the agreed time. Instead of de-escalating you are mobbed by friends of the staff who comfortably drink their cocktail (huh?) It is difficult to support the local companies.

My hangout for 6 years. Great cocktails, great food (no matter what) and a cool atmosphere. In summer you can sit on a terrace where sand has been piled up, real holiday feeling. Super nice staff! In Corona times, the delivery was great. The only drawback: the toilet facilities could definitely be cleaner. Really a shame, unfortunately devalues ​​the whole thing.

Plus point: very tasty cocktails Minus points: despite prior information no attention / no birthday greeting (like a sparkler or similar) for the "birthday child" from our group. The waitress was apparently more busy taking care of her child's homework than noticing our empty glasses on the table. No liquid soap in the men's toilet. So cold in the restaurant that two of us ate in our jackets. Maybe we had a bad day there, but unfortunately we were rather disappointed with our stay at Viva!

Furniture and sanitary facilities are a bit old, but the food and cocktails are still very good

We come here very often, but unfortunately the cocktails tasted really strange today. The MaiTai had a different color than usual and was very juice-heavy. The gimlet tasted like orange and way too much alcohol. So today was nothing?‍♂️

Food was super tasty, waiters very friendly and courteous despite a lot of activity. And the back garden has a bit of a vacation with sand and palm trees. I will definitely be back!

Food tasted very good. Portion sizes are good. Despite notice, an allergy to food was not considered, that I found not good. There was an apology, but I think it must not happen. It was a nice evening, thank you.

Very cozy Mexican restaurant. The waitresses are very friendly and fast. The selection of Mexican dishes is great and the food is very good. Very nice is the courtyard, where you can sit outside in the sand. Also in front of the restaurant to the pedestrian zone there are outdoor seating. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished.

Good Mexican restaurant. Nice and fresh sea food. Great German beer. Happy hours for XXL cocktails (17-20). Prices are in the mid range. Great atmosphere for a dinner with your friends and co-workers.

Viva is a fun little place but the food is a little distant from our own personal experience with true 'Tex-Mex' in the US. Seems that Germans appear to consider tossing corn in everything a nod towards 'Mexican', and the sauces always tend towards sweet rather than spicy. We've found the burgers here to be really quite good, however. Viva is a good option for a local Neufahrn outing; for those seeking something close to 'true' Mexican (which is of course separate from 'true' Tex-Mex) who aren't reluctant to drive/train into München, try El Patio or Tacos y Tequila (next door to each other on Herzogstr.)
